Fleetwood v Barnsley preview
Thursday 27 September 2018 18:44, UK
Fleetwood will have Ryan Taylor available for the Sky Bet League One match against Barnsley.
Veteran former Newcastle, Hull and Wigan man Taylor had been waiting on paperwork following a successful trial. Former Scotland winger Ross Wallace is also in contention having come off the bench during last weekend's defeat at Southend following his own free agent move.
Midfielder James Wallace is suspended after his red card against the Shrimpers, while forward Ashley Hunter also serves a one-match ban for collecting a fifth caution of the season, but Wes Burns is available again.
Barnsley are set for a first fixture since their game against Burton was postponed after a volunteer suffered a cardiac arrest at Oakwell. Several first-team players featured for the under-23s against Nottingham Forest on Monday night.
Jared Bird, Zeki Fryers, Ben Williams, Ryan Hedges, Cameron McGeehan and Jordan Williams were among those in action. Midfielder Brad Potts (thigh) had been sidelined, while both winger Lloyd Isgrove and recent signing Cauley Woodrow were carrying muscle strains.
