Cox had put the Robins on their way inside five minutes and doubled their lead six minutes before half-time. The striker then completed his treble on 52 minutes, only to see Porter pull one back for Hartlepool inside 60 seconds. The Australia international was then on target again with eight minutes left on the clock, and broke Swindon hearts when he levelled matters in stoppage-time. Hartlepool hold firm in mid-table on the back of the result while the Robins have now failed to taste success in each of their last five League One outings.
