Palermo secured their first Serie A success of the new campaign with a fine 3-1 away win over Juventus. The Old Lady are not having the best of seasons to date and are now level with Palermo in the lower half of the table. The Rosanero made an early impact with Javier Pastore finding the back of the net with only two minutes played. Things went from bad to worse just after the hour mark when Josip Ilicic doubled the visitors' advantage. There was no way back for Juve when defender Cesare Bovo netted, although the home side did get their name on the scoresheet through substitute Vincenzo Iaquinta. The defeat leaves Juventus two points clear of the drop zone while Palermo, who began the day second from bottom, have climbed into 16th.
