Celtic will have Stefan Johansen available for the Europa League clash with Molde at the Aker Stadion on Thursday (kick-off 8.05pm).

The Norwegian midfielder missed Saturday's 1-0 Scottish Premiership victory over Motherwell at Fir Park, but should start for Celtic in his homeland.

Winger James Forrest remains out of action due to a knock which also forced him out of the Motherwell match.

Versatile Scotland international Charlie Mulgrew has returned to training with the Hoops but will not play against Molde.

Emilio Izaguirre missed the 2-2 draw against Fenerbahce in the previous round of Group A fixtures following his dismissal against Ajax in Amsterdam, but he returns to the Celtic defence.

Central defender Jozo Simunovic, who has been injured since making his debut in the competition against Ajax in September, is back in the squad but unlikely to start.

Ronny Deila says it will be a 'very big victory' if Celtic win away to Molde in the Europa League as it will give them five points in a difficult group

Celtic assistant boss John Collins reckons the Croatian defender has fully recovered from the bruised bone and will be a regular starter very soon.

He said: "Jozo has trained this week so we will see how he is but I don't think he will be ready to start the game.

"He is a big signing for us. I thought he did very well in his first game against Ajax.

"He has been unfortunate, he injured himself in training but we look forward to getting him back."

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who won two Norwegian titles with Molde, returned as the club's manager on the eve of Celtic's visit.

And although the game arrives quickly for Solskjaer, he reckons he has enough knowledge of the Hoops going into the game as the Group A leaders hope for another victory.

Carlton Cole has signed a contract until 2017 with Celtic

"Of course, I haven't prepared really well for the Celtic game," Solskjaer said. "I've seen Celtic play Malmo, actually both games, so I'm not blank. I'll watch a few games and be ready.

"If you win this game and you've got seven points after three matches, you have a great chance of going through.

"I'm looking forward to seeing my lads playing again. Of course, football is more enjoyable when you win games."

Celtic manager Ronny Deila prevented Solskjaer from winning a third successive title at Molde when his Stromsgodset side became champions of Norway in 2013.

And the former Manchester United striker rates Deila highly, and is confident his compatriot will move to the English Premier League at some point.

"When you go to Celtic with all the demands and expectations, if you withstand that pressure, I think that gives him a great chance of maybe going to the Premier League one day," Solskjaer said.

Celtic assistant manager John Collins says the Scottish champions must concentrate from the first to last minute when they face Molde in the Europa League

"Because that is maybe the natural step after being at such a big club.

"So he can go far because he is an innovative coach, he is enthusiastic and I have got a lot of time for him.

"I think he has done great. We have seen a Ronny Deila team playing football. It takes time and you need time, but they look like what Ronny did in Norway.

"You can see the rotations, you can see the triangles, the passing and the movement. Of course, there is a demand for results all the time.

"You have to win the league, win the Scottish Cup and have got to be in the Champions League, although this time around they are playing us."
