A late Ross Hannah goal denied Morecambe the chance to go top of League Two for the first time as they drew 1-1 with Bradford.
Substitute Hannah struck three minutes into injury time with a sweetly-struck volley from the edge of the area that beat Barry Roche low to his left. Izak Reid gave Morecambe the lead on 56 minutes with his first goal for the club. Laurence Wilson's first effort came back off the crossbar, and after a goalmouth scramble, Reid volleyed home his first goal for the Shrimps in style from 12 yards out. The visitors hit back with Barry Roche saving superbly from James Devitt's free kick and James Hanson's close range header before Lewis Alessandria missed a golden opportunity when he shot over from 12 yards despite a great opening. Bradford started brightly with Mark Stewart sending a dipping shot over the bar before Morecambe's first effort of note came in the 16th minute. Reid crossed from the right, Luke Oliver failed to clear and Phil Jevons clipped the top of the crossbar with his effort from close range. Stewart Drummond saw two efforts fly over the bar and Bradford left-back Robbie Threlfall went close with a 40th-minute free kick that grazed the left-hand post.
