Shrewsbury have brought Jack Grimmer back from Fulham and have extended Larnell Cole's loan from the London club as well.
Cole has scored twice for the Shrews in 19 appearances since joining on loan at the start of September.
"I'm delighted that we've been able to keep him until the end of the season and I'm sure everyone will be pleased about that," Shrewsbury manager Micky Mellon told the club's website.
"He's an exciting player and he has that pace and trickery and League One quality that we are looking for.
"He should be scoring more goals, we have spoken about that today, and hopefully he can start to add more goals to his game.
"He's done well during his time here and he's a player I wanted to keep and he wanted to stay."
Cole's Cottagers team-mate Grimmer is also back at the Greenhous Meadow until the end of the campaign.
Grimmer made seven appearances for the Shrews during a previous loan spell.
