QPR's Michael Harriman has joined Sky Bet League 2 promotion chasers Wycombe Wanderers for an undisclosed fee.

Harriman had been with the Loftus Road club since the age of 11, and graduated into the professional ranks in 2011, but he made only three first-team appearances.

He had his first loan spell with Wycombe in the 2012-13 season and also went on to play for Gillingham and Luton Town.

The 23-year-old, predominantly known as a right-back, rejoined the Chairboys last July and scored six goals in 25 games after being moved into a more attacking wing role by boss Gareth Ainsworth.

He's got everything you want from a professional - he gives his all, he's got bags of ability and he's a great character to have around the club.

Harriman has signed a three-and-a-half year deal and Ainsworth is happy to have him on board, as he told the club's official website: "Michael's a player I've known for a number of years and he was one of my first loan signings when I became manager here.

"He's got everything you want from a professional - he gives his all, he's got bags of ability and he's a great character to have around the club.
