MK Dons manager Karl Robinson says Charlton striker Yaya Sanogo should be suspended for the rest of the season.
The 23 year-old, who is on loan at the Valley from Arsenal, appeared to elbow Dons defender Anthony Kay in an off-the-ball incident during the 0-0 draw on Tuesday.
The Frenchman was shown a straight red card following the incident and Robinson has called for a more serious punishment than the mandatory three-match suspension given for violent conduct.
"It was disgusting. He should be banned for the rest of the season," said Robinson, following the match.
"He's clearly, off the ball, had a go and then a second one.
"I was expecting to see the police in the tunnel at the end of the game because the challenges were so bad," added the MK Dons boss.
"I know it's about fighting and competing for survival in one of the most difficult leagues in Europe, but there's still got to be an element of control."
Sanogo is now set to miss Charlton's next three league fixtures against Middlesbrough, Sheffield Wednesday and Birmingham.
Charlton remain seven points from safety following the draw, whilst MK Dons sit just a point above the relegation places.
