Damien Delaney and Julian Speroni have signed one-year contract extensions with Crystal Palace.
Their original deals expired this summer but both have agreed to stay on at Selhurst Park until the end of the 2016-17 season.
Six other players - including Marouane Chamakh and Emmanuel Adebayor - will be leaving the club at the end of their contracts this summer.
Delaney, 34, has been a first-team regular since joining in August 2012, helping the club to win promotion from the Championship in 2013 and then become established in the Premier League.
Speroni, 37, is the longest-serving player at the club and will begin his 13th season equal-fourth in the all-time appearance standings.
He has made 388 appearances since joining in 2004 and equalled John Jackson's club appearance record as a goalkeeper against Southampton in the final league game of last season.
Joining Chamakh and Adebayor through the exit door are Brede Hangeland, Adrian Mariappa, Paddy McCarthy and Chris Kettings.
Much-travelled Adebayor joined Palace on a short-term deal in January but netted just once in 15 appearances.
Chamakh too failed to nail down a starting spot during his two years in SE25, his record not helped by injuries, which restricted the Morocco international to just 66 appearances.
