Rangers midfielder Jordan Rossiter is set to join Bury on loan until the end of the season, manager Steven Gerrard confirmed.
The 21-year-old has made five appearances so far this season in all competitions under Gerrard.
Speaking after their 3-1 win over Cowdenbeath in the Scottish Cup on Wednesday evening, the Rangers boss also confirmed it was unlikely they would make any more signings before the January transfer window shuts on Thursday.
"There will be no ins. We're happy and satisfied with what we have," he said. "I can't see anyone coming in unless something crazy happens.
"Regarding outs, Jordan is very close to joining Bury. He's been down there all day and it is 99 per cent done. We have had no respectable bids for any of our other players."
Rossiter joined Rangers from Liverpool in July 2016 on a free transfer and has scored one goal in just under three years at the Glasgow club.
