Take a look at the finest saves from the latest round of fixtures in the Premier League.

Manchester United's remarkable comeback against Manchester City was unquestionably the best game of the weekend and the Etihad might have been the venue for the best save too. David De Gea continued his fine form to deny Sergio Aguero late on to keep United's 3-2 lead intact.

The Merseyside derby wasn't quite as exciting as its Manchester equivalent but both goalkeepers impressed with Loris Karius making a brilliant finger-tip stop to deny Yannick Bolasie, while at the other end Jordan Pickford was on hand to deny Dominic Solanke from close-range.

Pickford's rival for the England no.1 position, Jack Butland, also impressed this weekend by making a fine stop to save Heung-min Son's effort, while Jonas Lossl had to be at his best to deny Brighton's Jose Izquierdo.

Asmir Begovic made a match-defining save to stop Patrick van Aanholt's shot during Bournemouth's 2-2 draw against Crystal Palace as the Eagles would have gone 2-0 up had the Dutchman converted the chance.

Super Sunday saw two other goalkeepers catch the eye with Alex McCarthy denying Granit Xhaka while Joe Hart pulled off a stunning reaction save to prevent Marcos Alonso from scoring in West Ham's draw against Chelsea.
