Head coach Jan Siewert takes charge of Huddersfield for the first time when Everton are the visitors to the John Smith's Stadium on Tuesday.
The 36-year-old replaced David Wagner last week to become the Premier League's youngest manager and will take charge of his first game against Everton.
And Siewert, whose side is three points adrift at the foot of the table, is ready for the proudest moment of his fledgling career on Tuesday.
"So far definitely, yes," the former Borussia Dortmund II coach said when asked if it would mark a career high.
And when asked what his overriding emotion was, he said: "Excitement to be honest, because you all know I've only been once to the stadium and I'm really looking forward to the atmosphere there. I find the fans of this club are very special and they give a certain atmosphere, so that's why I'm excited to have my first game there."
Under-pressure Marco Silva insisted there was no need to panic over Everton's recent form ahead of their Huddersfield clash.
Everton were knocked out of the FA Cup by Millwall in a 3-2 upset on Saturday, adding to Silva's woes after three defeats in the last four Premier League outings.
"In October, November, when we were playing well and doing what is our obligation as club, I told you many, many things we had to improve," Silva said.
"I am not happy with the last month and a half, but I am not panicking."
Silva did accepted there was discontent amongst the Everton fans over recent results, but added: "We as a club cannot panic. Even if we are not happy, even if the fans are disappointed.
"I am also, but I am not panicking because we as a club cannot panic if we want to do the right things in the future."
Huddersfield midfielder Aaron Mooy is expected to return to contention for Siewert's first game in charge.
Mooy has been sidelined with knee ligament damage since early December and it remains to be seen whether the Australia international starts.
Fellow midfielder Philip Billing is hoping to return to full training this week after missing the home defeat to Manchester City, while Danny Williams (knee) and Abdelhamid Sabiri (collarbone) are also still out.
Everton defender Yerry Mina is a major doubt. The Colombian was replaced at half-time in the 3-2 FA Cup defeat to Millwall with a foot problem and is being assessed, with Kurt Zouma in line to replace him if necessary.
Veteran defender Phil Jagielka remains sidelined with a muscle injury, but Marco Silva otherwise has plenty of options to freshen up his side after a frustrating run of results.

He'll be in big, big trouble if they follow that up with a defeat at Huddersfield because to lose to Huddersfield and Millwall inside four days would not be good.
It won't be easy for Everton with Jan Siewert taking charge of Huddersfield for the first time, but they should just about have enough to edge this one and ease the pressure on Silva a little.
