Teammates 2.0: Simon Mignolet on quickest, messiest and teacher's pet among Liverpool players

On the latest Soccer AM, Liverpool goalkeeper Simon Mignolet was quizzed on his team-mates by Tubes, revealing some interesting answers...

Who is the best footballer?

I think talent-wise, it's Philippe Coutinho. The amount of skill he has naturally, he's up there with the best in the world.

Especially when you play small-sided games in training, when he faces up, you never know what he's going to do. He can make you look stupid.

Who is the joker?

Most of the time it's Jon Flanagan. He loves to crack a joke, silly ones really, but he likes it.

For instance, after Halloween, he asked a few of the boys why they've still got their mask on. Marko Grujic got it the worst.

Who is the tough nut?

I think it's James Milner. On the field he always puts in a shift, you can't get past him, and he'll go to the end.

Who is the best dancer?

It has to be Daniel Sturridge. He's shown it scoring goals, he's not one to do it on the training ground, but on the pitch when he scores you can see he's got it in the bag. I have no moves, I'm very bad at dancing.

Who is the DJ?

The Brazilian and Spanish like to put their music on. In the last couple weeks, Sadio Mane has brought in some African-style music as well, which is a bit of a change.

Before the game we also have a bit of a playlist, which is set of all the favourite songs of the whole squad really.

Who will be a future manager?

I think the obvious answer is the skipper, Jordan Henderson, and James Milner, the experienced boys. It's always difficult to say, when you are playing you are only focused on your job as a football player.

Who is the quickest?

It has to be between Sadio and Mo Salah, our two wingers. The Ox would be up there too. We have quick full-backs as well, Alberto Moreno has a good spring, and Can too.

100m race, who wins?

Sadio is definitely quickest in the first couple of metres, but as it gets longer, I'd say Mo.

Who is the messiest?

It has to be Danny Ings. He's not sitting far away from me, and there's loads of stuff hanging around which doesn't need to be there really.

Who gets fined the most?

I'd say Sadio Mane and Trent Alexander-Arnold have been fined the most over the previous months. We have to fill in an app every morning to say how much sleep we had, how good we feel before every training, and they keep forgetting. They ask how long you've slept, the quality of how you sleep, how you feel, whether you have stiffness or not.

Who is the teacher's pet?

Adam Lallana. And I think he knows it himself as well!

Who is the geek?

Gini Wijnaldum I saw reading a book from Seville, I like to say I'm up there as the cleverest, James Milner too, Ragnar Klavan too.
