Bournemouth will be without injured trio Charlie Daniels, Dan Gosling and Kyle Taylor for Tuesday's Carabao Cup tie with Blackburn.

Left-back Daniels has a knee injury while midfielders Taylor and Gosling have calf issues. Forward Junior Stanislas returned from a knee problem as a second-half substitute at Burnley on Saturday and could be involved.

Manager Eddie Howe plans to rotate his squad for the match, with midfielder Lewis Cook and striker Jermain Defoe among those pushing for game time, along with captain Simon Francis and winger Jordon Ibe.

Blackburn could give a debut to Jack Rodwell at the Vitality Stadium. The former England midfielder has been working on his fitness after joining the Championship club last month.

Rovers boss Tony Mowbray has said he will make changes for the trip to the south coast. Scotland international Charlie Mulgrew will miss out with a calf injury, while forward Dominic Samuel and midfielder Ben Gladwin (both knee) remain sidelined.

Bournemouth and Blackburn have faced twice in the League Cup - Rovers won 1-0 on aggregate in the second round in 1993-94, while the Cherries progressed on penalties after a 3-3 draw in the second round in 2004-05.

Blackburn haven't lost any of their last four visits to Bournemouth in all competitions (D2 L2) since a 2-1 defeat in the second tier in December 1988 when the Cherries were managed by Harry Redknapp.
