Former Wigan chairman David Sharpe joins 366 Group agency

Former Wigan Athletic chairman David Sharpe has joined football agents 366 Group as a Senior Sports Agent.

Sharpe became the youngest chairman in English football history at just 23 years old in 2015, replacing his grandfather David Whelan at the DW Stadium.

He ran the club for six years and oversaw the Latics' promotion to the Championship as League One champions in 2016.

Sharpe left the club after International Entertainment Corporation PLC (IEC) completed their acquisition of the club from the Whelan family in November 2018.
