Charlton interim manager Karel Fraeye has been sacked after just two months in charge of the Championship strugglers.
Fraeye's departure from The Valley follows the 5-0 thrashing at Huddersfield on Tuesday night which leaves the club second-from-bottom in the table, three points from safety.
The Belgian replaced Guy Luzon in October and became the fifth manager to be appointed by owner Roland Duchatelet since he became a majority shareholder of the Addicks in January 2014.
However, Fraeye's arrival failed to stop the south London club's poor run of form and he leaves with a record of eight defeats in 14 matches and Charlton without a win in 10 games.
"Charlton Athletic have relieved Karel Fraeye of his duties as Interim head coach," confirmed the club in a statement.
"The club would like to place on record its thanks to Karel for his tireless work and the many positive contributions he made to the wider football setup at Charlton.
"First-team coach Wim de Corte, assisted by Jason Euell, will take charge of the Charlton team for the Hull City match on Saturday."
Unconfirmed reports claim Fraeye will be replaced by Nebojsa Vignjevic, who is the currently manager of Hungarian Premier League side Ujpest, while it has also been reported that former boss Jose Riga is in the frame.
Budapest side Ujpest are owned by Duchatelet's son Roderick.
