MK Dons have signed Southampton youngster Jake Hesketh on loan until the end of the season, the clubs confirmed on Deadline Day.

The 22-year-old midfielder, who has made two Premier League appearances for the Saints, spent the first half of the season on loan at Burton Albion and scored three goals in 23 games for the Sky Bet League One side.

He will now help MK Dons - who also signed Russell Martin and David Wheeler in the January transfer window - in their mission to achieve promotion from League Two.
