Geoff Cameron will travel to the United States for a second opinion on his knee injury which has kept him out for over two months.

The American international has not played since suffering a ligament injury in the Potters' 2-0 win at Hull on October 22 but remains confident he will be able to make a comeback next month.

Cameron told The Sentinel: "It's 10 weeks now and it's been a frustrating 10 weeks. It's been tough to heal.

"I don't think it requires surgery and I'm positive I'll be back in the next month or so, but I want to take my time and make sure I'm fully recovered.

"It's been a slow and a frustrating procedure for me because throughout my career I haven't been really injured, knock on wood.
