Joey Barton has insisted he is happy with his squad depth despite Fleetwood's poor run in League One, which has seen them win only one of their last five in the competition ahead of Tuesday's match with Coventry.
Barton was able to recall Ched Evans at the weekend and also brought Ryan Taylor into his side, but it made no difference in a 2-1 loss to Plymouth.
With no injury worries at present, Barton pointed out that he has the likes of Dean Marney unable to get into his team. James Husband will be pushing for a recall on Tuesday after making way for Taylor.
Coventry boss Mark Robins is hoping Jodi Jones' injury is not as bad as first feared after the 21-year-old lasted just eight minutes of Saturday's draw with Peterborough having come on as a substitute. Robins said the forward had "spooked himself" given his previous injury problems and he hoped it was nothing major.
On-loan Chelsea youngster Dujon Sterling is expected back at Coventry this week after having treatment with his parent club but Tuesday's match will come too soon. Max Biamou remains out with a serious knee injury.
This will be the seventh ever meeting between these two sides. Fleetwood have won each of the last three, conceding just once in that period.
Coventry have won two of their three away games against Fleetwood (L1), keeping two clean sheets.
Fleetwood have won just one of their last six league games, drawing one and losing four.
Coventry have won four of their last six away league games (L2), though they did lose last time out on the road (0-1 at Burton).
