Coventry vs Southend preview
Friday 28 December 2018 12:23, UK
Coventry will hope to have Luke Thomas available for the visit of Southend.
Thomas went off in the Sky Blues' Boxing Day win over Charlton with a head injury which saw him lose consciousness.
He will now go through the relevant procedures with head injuries to see whether he has suffered concussion.
Mark Robins will assess the rest of his squad for any knocks as they aim to build on that win over the Addicks, which ended a nine-game winless run.
Southend should have Dru Yearwood available at the Ricoh Arena.
The youngster came off with cramp in the Shrimpers' 1-0 win at Oxford on Boxing Day, but will have recovered in time.
The quick turnaround could mean that goalkeeper Mark Oxley and Harry Bunn continue to miss out.
Oxley has a back injury and midfielder Bunn has a thigh problem which have kept them out of recent matches.
