Queens Park Rangers' pre-season friendly against FC Union Berlin was abandoned after 13 minutes on Saturday due to torrential rain and thunderstorms making the pitch unplayable.

The referee paused proceedings with the scoreline at 0-0 and players took cover from the adverse weather conditions before the decision was taken to call off the match after officials inspected the ground.

The Hoops arrived in Germany on Friday to take part in two friendlies in as many days as they continue their pre-season campaign.
