Bedfordshire Police have been unable to find any "specific comments or suspects" after an investigation into racism allegations at a Luton Town match.
The League One club and Bedfordshire Police have each looked into the allegations made after their clash with Accrington Stanley at Kenilworth Road on October 23.
Luton's own probe found no evidence to support the claims made but they continued to support the police investigation, which has now concluded with no suspects having been identified.
A statement from Bedfordshire Police read: "We have been investigating a report of racist comments directed towards a player during the Luton Town v Accrington Stanley match at Kenilworth Road on Tuesday, October 23.
"Several lines of enquiry have been investigated, including interviewing witnesses and reviewing audio footage of the game and CCTV, but officers cannot identify any specific comments or suspects.
"We work in partnership with Luton Town Football Club and Kick It Out and Show Racism The Red Card. Racism has absolutely no place in society and football is no exception to that.
"Any allegations of racist behaviour are taken seriously, and will be investigated appropriately to ensure the sport is family-friendly and accessible to all."
