Richard Wood missed a glorious chance to put Rotherham ahead against Doncaster, but had the ball already crossed the line?

With 34 minutes on the clock in the South Yorkshire derby on Saturday, there was a moment of controversy as Wood felt he had prodded the visitors ahead at the Keepmoat Stadium.

Semi Akayi headed Ryan Williams' cross into the ground with the ball skipping up onto the crossbar but Wood looked set to head home the rebound only to see his effort also hit the woodwork before bouncing down into the grateful arms of Doncaster stopper Ian Lawlor.

But had the ball already crossed the line?
