MK Dons v Bristol Rovers preview
Friday 2 March 2018 22:32, UK
MK Dons boss Dan Micciche will have Ed Upson back in contention following the defender's suspension for picking up 10 yellow cards.
In one of just three fixtures to survive the cold snap in Sky Bet League One, the Dons welcome Rovers to Stadium MK, hoping to boost themselves three points closer to survival.
They welcomed back Chuks Aneke to the squad during last weekend's draw with Fleetwood Town, while Ethan Ebanks-Landell was another returning face after he served a two-game suspension - both will be available on Saturday.
Micciche will also be hoping to welcome back Osman Sow, after a number of weeks in the treatment room. Peter Pawlett and Marcus Tavernier continue to be monitored by the medical team while Alex Gilbey [knee], Joe Walsh [knee] and Scott Golbourne [hip] remain sidelined long-term.
Bristol Rovers, meanwhile, will be hoping to avoid a second successive postponement after their midweek with Wigan was called off.
Opta stats
MK Dons are winless in their last three League One encounters with Bristol Rovers (D2 L1), failing to score in the last two.
The Pirates have never won at the Stadium MK in five previous attempts, conceding 11 goals. Their 3-3 draw in October 2016 ended a run of four straight defeats there.
Milton Keynes are the only League One club to have failed to pick up a win in 2018 (D3 L6) - with the Dons picking up fewer points than any other side in the division (3 points).
The Gas have lost just one of their last six league away games (W2 D3), although this came in their most recent away trip against AFC Wimbledon.
Bristol Rovers have picked up 22 points from losing positions in the league this season; eight more than any other League One side.
