Rochdale v Barnsley preview
Tuesday 21 August 2018 16:02, UK
Rochdale boss Keith Hill will look to name an unchanged side for his side's League One clash with Barnsley.
Hill was delighted with the way his side twice fought back from behind to grab a 2-2 draw at Fleetwood on Saturday. Calvin Andrew is pushing for some involvement but it is likely to come from the bench with Aaron Wilbraham and Bradden Inman continuing up front.
Callum Camps and Matt Done are also hoping to have sufficiently impressed Hill after coming off the bench on Saturday.
Barnsley will assess the fitness of Lloyd Isgrove who missed the goalless draw against Wimbledon with a sore muscle. Striker Victor Adeboyejo will hope for a place in the starting line-up as the Tykes seek to rediscover their goal-scoring form at Spotland.
But boss Daniel Stendel is expected to stay loyal to the players who have made an encouraging start to their League One campaign. Full-back Zeki Fryers and winger Ryan Hedges are continuing their respective recoveries but are still a long way off being back in contention.
Opta stats

Barnsley have only lost once in their last six trips to Rochdale (W3 D2), however that defeat did come in the last time out in August 2015 (0-3).
Rochdale have won just one of their last seven league games at home (D4 L2), a 1-0 victory over Charlton on the final day of the 2017/18 season back in May.
Barnsley have lost six of their last seven away league games, but did win their last such match at Bradford thanks to goals from Tom Bradshaw and Victor Adeboyejo.
Current Rochdale boss Keith Hill's only match at the Crown Oil Arena as an away manager came when in charge of Barnsley in August 2012, winning 4-3 in a League Cup tie.
