AFC Wimbledon vs Shrewsbury preview
Friday 2 November 2018 12:12, UK
AFC Wimbledon will welcome back on-loan striker Jake Jervis for the visit of Shrewsbury.
The forward was ineligible for the 2-0 defeat to parent club Luton last weekend. Defender Tyler Garratt (knee), midfielder Anthony Wordsworth (Achilles) and winger Andy Barcham (calf) are all likely to miss out. The struggling Dons have lost their last six matches in Sky Bet League One.
Shrewsbury remain without Shaun Whalley for another month after he suffered a calf injury against Sunderland in October. Abo Eisa (knee) is getting closer to a return but is unlikely to feature for Town.
Boss John Askey has admitted he could be sacked if Shrewsbury fail to win on Saturday. The Shrews are 19th in Sky Bet League One, a point above the relegation zone.
