Bristol City take Rugare Musendo on trial

Bristol City have taken former Southampton midfielder Rugare Musendo on trial, according to Sky sources.

The 18-year-old, who has previously spent time at Arsenal and Chelsea, is currently a free agent following his release from the Saints earlier this summer.

Musendo joined up with the Robins development squad earlier this week and will attempt to win a contract at the club.

Manager Lee Johnson has made two signings so far this summer, spending a club-record £5.3m on forward Famara Diedhiou and also acquiring Italian right-back Eros Pisano on a free transfer.
