Millwall are in talks to bring Ben Marshall back to The Den, according to Sky sources.

The 27-year-old winger spent the second half of last season on loan at Millwall after joining from Wolves and went on to help them secure an eighth-place finish in the Sky Bet Championship - their highest league standing since 2002.

Millwall made a then club-record bid in excess of £1.25m in the summer, but Marshall instead joined Championship rivals Norwich on a four-year deal.

Marshall has since struggled to establish himself as a first-team regular at Carrow Road and has only managed to make six appearances so far this season.

Millwall manager Neil Harris is keen to strengthen his squad this month and has already added defender Alex Pearce to his ranks.
