Gillingham v Doncaster preview
Friday 6 April 2018 13:04, UK
Gillingham will be without Lee Martin for their mid-table League One clash at home to Doncaster on Saturday.
The midfielder was sent off on the stroke of half-time in Monday's 4-0 thrashing at Southend and starts his ban this weekend.
Josh Parker could return having missed the last two games while Callum Reilly will be hoping to be in contention after a hamstring issue. Billy Bingham (ankle) and Aaron Morris (knee) will still be missing for the hosts.
Unlike Gillingham, who have lost their last three, Rovers travel to Priestfield on the back of two wins. Defender Andy Boyle returned to the bench for the victory over Blackpool and could be involved from the start this time out.
Andy Butler could also be involved after a long-term knee problem - although it could come too early for the 34-year-old. Darren Ferguson's options at the back remain limited as on-loan Burnley defender Tom Anderson recovers from a fractured cheekbone and Danny Andrew (knee) is also out.
Opta stats
Gillingham are unbeaten across their last five league games against Doncaster (W2 D3), including a goalless draw on the opening day of the season.
Donny have only won two of their 29 visits to the Priestfield Stadium in the Football League (D7 L20), though they have only lost one of their last four such visits there (W1 D2).
Gillingham have lost each of their last three league games - they last lost four such games in a row in April 2017.
Doncaster have picked up just one win from their last eight away games in League One (D5 L2), though that win did come last time out against Blackpool (2-1).
