Brighton boss Chris Hughton believes this weekend's opponents Leicester have provided the Seagulls with a perfect model to follow as they look to avoid relegation from the top flight.
Brighton travel to the King Power Stadium on Saturday for their first away fixture in the Premier League, having suffered a 2-0 defeat to Manchester City in their opening game of the campaign.
Hughton believes the Seagulls can learn a lot from the Foxes, who shocked the world to win the Premier League title in 2015-16 - just one season after gaining promotion back to the top flight.
"In terms of them winning the league… it was an extraordinary one off," Hughton said. "But certainly [we can follow] their model in terms of the size of the club.
"They are a club that have got a very good history but they've spent a period of time outside of the Premier League.
"The way they approached the Championship to get promotion [to the Premier League] and then stay there - yes absolutely I think they are a good model [to follow].
Brighton will face the Foxes without young forward Izzy Brown, who suffered a suspected hamstring injury during the club's opening-day defeat to City.
"The only one out of the squad from Saturday is Izzy Brown," Hughton said. "He has gone back to Chelsea to be assessed.
"It is what they do with their loan players. We're hoping to have him back here next week. We're also hoping that it's not so bad - it is a hamstring injury but we're hoping it's not too severe."
Hughton also admitted the match has come too soon for new signing Jose Izquierdo, who recently joined the Seagulls in a club-record £13.5m move from Club Brugge.
"It will be a little bit too soon but we're thoroughly looking forward to him getting amongst the team," said Hughton.
"He hasn't been able to train with the team yet so it's a little bit too soon. He will probably join the team after the weekend."
