MK Dons moved two places clear of the Sky Bet League One relegation zone with a 2-0 win over local rivals Wycombe.
Rhys Healey netted his second goal in as many games for Russell Martin's men before Ben Gladwin rounded things off late on with a sweet left-footed strike, as Wycombe suffered their fifth consecutive away league defeat.
The Chairboys did threaten after a cagey 38 minutes when Nick Freeman's shot from inside the MK box was deflected into the path of frontman Alex Samuel, before his first-time effort forced Dons keeper Lee Nicholls to tip the ball over the crossbar for a corner.
Martin's men found the net after 67 minutes after Jordan Houghton's inviting cross from the left was flicked on by the busy Carlton Morris, before Healey raced in at the back post to tap home his eighth goal of the season.
The visitors almost levelled through second-half substitute Josh Parker when the attacking midfielder's flick-on skipped inches wide of the MK Dons goalpost.
Gladwin rounded things off for MK Dons with a fine left-footed strike four minutes from time, as Martin's side secured a second-successive league win to move above AFC Wimbledon in the table.
