Rochdale vs Fleetwood preview
Friday 18 January 2019 14:54, UK
Ethan Ebanks-Landell may be in line for his full Rochdale debut when Fleetwood visit Spotland at the weekend.
The 26-year-old defender joined from Wolves for the rest of the season earlier this month and he played the entirety of the second half in last Saturday's 2-1 defeat at Peterborough.
Rochdale manager Keith Hill has no new injury or suspension concerns but could look to shake up his side following four consecutive Sky Bet League One defeats. Dale have conceded 15 goals and scored only once in that period.
Ched Evans will once again be unavailable for Fleetwood. The on-loan Sheffield United striker completes a two-game suspension after being found guilty of directing abuse at the referee during the match at Bristol Rovers on December 22.
Manager Joey Barton will return to the touchline after being given a two-match ban from the dugout following a misconduct charge he received from the same fixture. Centre-half Cian Bolger became the latest player to leave the Cod Army after joining League Two outfit Lincoln, following Bobby Grant and Chris Long in exiting the club this month.
