Wycombe v Scunthorpe preview
Friday 19 October 2018 12:25, UK
Wycombe will check on Darius Charles and Matt Bloomfield ahead of the visit of Scunthorpe.
Defender Charles missed the start of the season through injury and, although he recently returned to fitness, he sat out last weekend's 1-0 defeat at Coventry. Veteran midfielder Bloomfield tweaked his knee at the Ricoh Arena and will also be assessed. Anthony Stewart (thigh) and Nathan Tyson (hamstring) are set to miss out again.
Scunthorpe will be without experienced duo Matthew Lund and Josh Morris after picking up injuries in the 2-0 home defeat by Peterborough. Lund is facing a lay-off of up to five weeks with ankle-ligament damage while Morris will be sidelined for two or three weeks with a fractured jaw.
United manager Stuart McCall says striker George Thomas will be raring to go after making his competitive international debut in Wales' win over the Republic of Ireland. James Horsfield is fully fit after returning from a two-week lay-off with a groin injury to the substitutes' bench last weekend.
