Celtic's Anthony Stokes completes medical ahead of Hibernian loan

Anthony Stokes is expected to finalise his loan move to Hibernian after completing a medical on Saturday.
The out-of-favour Celtic striker was at the Hibernian training ground, but the paperwork has not yet been completed so, as it stands, he remains a Hoops player.
However, the deal for Stokes to return to his former club is expected to be completed by early next week.
The 27-year-old spent a season at Easter Road after joining the club from Sunderland in 2009, scoring 24 goals in 47 games before his move to Celtic.
Dundee United and Inverness Caledonian Thistle had agreed terms for the striker, but it would appear Stokes has opted for a move back to the capital.
Hibs boss Alan Stubbs - who has allowed on-loan duo Islam Feruz and Henri Anier to return to their parent clubs - had previously said Stokes would bring extra quality to his squad if a deal could be completed.
"We've made contact with Celtic regarding Anthony Stokes. We've agreed in principal with Celtic a deal to hopefully speak to Anthony, we just need to tie one or two things up now with him and his advisor," he said.
"Following that we will hopefully be in a position where we can announce something, but we're not at that stage yet.
"We understand Celtic's wishes, but I think the fact that we have got some very competitive games in this division and our aspirations are very high and if we can get Anthony across the line then he certainly brings a lot of quality. We are a top-flight club playing in the Championship."
