Laurent Blanc has parted ways with Paris Saint-Germain, according to L'Equipe.

The 50-year-old won three French Ligue 1 titles and secured domestic trebles in each of his last two seasons with PSG.

However, his position has looked increasingly tenuous after he failed to guide the Parisian side beyond the Champions League quarter-finals.

Blanc signed a new two-year contract extension with the club in February but his agent told a French radio station on Monday that he was expecting to leave the Parc des Princes this week.

That could open the way for Unai Emery to take charge at the club. The Spaniard has been heavily linked with the post and left Sevilla earlier this month after guiding them to three consecutive Europa League titles.
