AC Milan are in talks to sign midfielder Renato Sanches from Bayern Munich, according to Sky sources.
The Serie A side are offering to sign Sanches on a loan deal, with a €40m option to buy.
The 19-year-old Sanches was one of the hottest properties in European football last summer, when Bayern signed him from Benfica for €35m.
He was subsequently named best young player at Euro 2016 after helping Portugal to victory but endured a tricky first season in Germany.
However, at 19, he remains one of the brightest young talents in the game and big spending Milan are keen to bring him to the San Siro.
AC Milan have been on a stunning spending spree this summer and have already signed Lucas Biglia, Andre Silva, Ricardo Rodriguez, Hakan Calhanoglu, Andrea Conti, Mateo Musacchio, Franck Kessie, Fabio Borini and the Juventus great Leonardo Bonucci.
