Martin's starting stats from Bournemouth v Liverpool

In the last four away games in the Premier League, Liverpool have scored 16 goals, against West Ham, Stoke, Brighton and Bournemouth, plus three more in Seville in the Champions League.

They are now unbeaten in their last nine games in the Premier League, winning six and drawing three. This is their longest run without defeat since November 2016, where they went 11 games unbeaten. They are unbeaten in 12 in all competitions. Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool best is 15 in all competitions.

Charlie Daniels came off injured on Sunday, but he continued his record of having played the most Premier League games for Bournemouth (90). He has also made the most assists (9), which for a left-back is pretty impressive.

Mohamed Salah took his tally to 20 goals in all competitions - the first Liverpool player to reach such a tally since Daniel Sturridge and Luis Suarez did it in the same season in 2013/14. He has been involved in 24 goals in all competitions.

Liverpool took their tally in all competitions to 67, Bournemouth, having played six fewer matches, are still stuck on 21.

Eddie Howe is the youngest manager in the Premier League at 40, while Jurgen Klopp sits midway in the list, having turned 50 in June.

Cech is No 1

Petr Cech insists finishing above Tottenham is not Arsenal's priority

Petr Cech now has 199 Premier League clean sheets, is this a record? (Arnold, Solihull)

MARTIN SAYS: Arsenal's 1-0 win over Newcastle was memorable for Mesut Ozil's volley but it also brought Petr Cech one closer to a personal milestone as he collected his 199th clean sheet in the Premier League.

Since arriving at Chelsea in 2004, the Czech has been the barometer for goalkeeping excellence in England, a fact that sees him well clear at the top of shut-outs for goalkeepers.

David James is second on the list with 169 clean sheets, 30 fewer than Cech, and unlikely to catch the Arsenal stopper considering he retired in 2014. Cech will make his 100th appearance in all competitions if he features against Liverpool on Friday, live on Sky Sports.

Petr Cech 199

First line of attack is defence

Marcos Alonso celebrates his goal with Tiemoue Bakayoko

Marcos Alonso has been involved in 14 goals since his Chelsea debut in 2016, can any defenders compete with that? (James, Hungerford)

MARTIN SAYS: The Spaniard can certainly take a fine free-kick and it's no wonder he gets as many goals and assists as he does considering his freedom to get up the pitch.

Since making his debut for Chelsea, Alonso has scored 10 and set up another four, meaning he has contributed to three more goals than Cesar Azpilicueta, who has netted twice and assisted nine more since September 2016.

Overall, the most prolific defender going forward is Paul Bodin, who averaged 0.38 assists/goals in his 32 Premier League games for Swindon Town.

Liverpool have won their last four Premier League away games by three goals or more, can anyone beat that? (Jerome, Southport)

MARTIN SAYS: The 4-0 victory over Bournemouth saw Jurgen Klopp's men set a record as the first team to go on a run of winning four straight Premier League away games by three goals or more.

Arsenal have achieved the feat of winning three straight away games by three goals or more twice in the Premier League era in 2004 and 2015 but they could never make it four. Right back in 1888, in the first Football League season, Preston North End did three in a row, too.

Unwanted records

West Brom have gone 16 games without a Premier League win, where does this rank on the list of poor streaks? (Brian, Wolverhampton)

WEST BROMWICH, ENGLAND - DECEMBER 17: Alan Pardew, Manager of West Bromwich Albion looks on prior to the Premier League match between West Bromwich Albion

MARTIN SAYS: West Brom went on an identical run in 2008, spread over two seasons, so it's not the first time they've struggled to get three points, but they certainly won't want to stretch their winless run in their next outing against fellow strugglers Stoke.

Luckily for West Brom, there have been far worse runs, with Derby County achieving the unwanted record of 32 games without a single win. Unsurprisingly, they could only muster 11 points in the campaign.
