After weeks of speculation surrounding Robbie Keane's next career move, the former Republic of Ireland captain has been pictured training with Al-Ahli.

Keane left MLS outfit LA Galaxy in November after six years with the club, and has since been linked with a host of English sides.

However, the United Arab Emirates club posted photographs of Keane training with them on Twitter.

The post captioned: "Irish star Robbie Keane participates in morning drills."

The Dubai-based club currently sit fourth in the Arabian Gulf League table.

The 36-year-old started his career in 1997 with Wolves, going on to play for Coventry, Inter Milan, Leeds, Tottenham, Liverpool, Celtic, West Ham and the Galaxy.
