Ashton Gate the destination on Friday night
- Bristol City vs Watford, live on Sky Sports Football from 7.30pm on Friday; kick-off 8pm
Two sides on the outside of the play-off race looking in meet at Ashton Gate on Friday night, as Bristol City face Watford in our weekend Championship curtain-raiser.
The Robins impressively bounced back to win 2-1 at Blackburn in midweek, as they sit four points off the top six. While Watford fell to 12th in the table after their first defeat under Ed Still. They are six points off the play-offs.
Sky Sports' Gary Weaver:
"I always think Bristol City are indicative of the Championship. They get to a point and then have a result that knocks them back again. It was an important win against Blackburn. We did the game the other week where they were beaten 5-0 by Derby at Ashton Gate, which set them back again.
"Gerhard Struber said he thinks it will go down to the last day for sixth position. This is a big night for Bristol City in particular. If they win, it keeps Watford below them. Ashton Gate, as you know, really brings the atmosphere, and the club are encouraging everyone to wear red and white to add to that on Friday night. It is a big game to start the weekend and a chance to put pressure on the teams around them.
"Injury-wise for Bristol City, Rob Dickie is going to be out for a couple of months and Rob Atkinson has suffered a knock, so they have big defensive problems.
"Ed Still was not happy with the first half against Ipswich but was much more pleased with the second. He has changed their training schedule to make sessions sharper and more intense, trying to train the way they play. It is a big Friday night game at Ashton Gate."

Leicester City remain in the bottom three after two draws this week under new boss Gary Rowett. In both games they led, before being pegged back by Stoke and then Middlesbrough. They find themselves a point adrift of safety heading into the weekend.
Norwich City, meanwhile, beat Sheffield Wednesday in midweek to move eight points clear of the drop. Their relegation fears are starting to look a ong way behind them.
Sky Sports' Gary Weaver:
"Gary has gone in and picked up two draws. They could easily have beaten Stoke with the chances they had late in that game. They also did OK against Middlesbrough. They took the lead and competed well. This is his first home game as manager, so he will be looking forward to it.
"As for Norwich, I watched them against Sheffield Wednesday. Wednesday started well, but Norwich took control. It was a great goal from Paris Maghoma. Norwich fans are already loving him. He plays with real imagination.
"It is a big blow losing Mohamed Toure, which leaves Mathias Kvistgaarden as their only fit striker at the moment, and that could be a problem.
"The gap between Norwich and Leicester is eight points. Whether Leicester can drag Norwich back into it remains to be seen. West Brom are probably the team Leicester are aiming for, given everything going on at Albion at the moment. It is a hugely important game at the King Power."

A key clash at St Andrew's on Monday night
- Birmingham vs Middlesbrough, live on Sky Sports Football from 7.30pm on Monday; kick-off 8pm
Sky Sports' Gary Weaver:
"What Middlesbrough did before this little dip was incredible. Winning six games in a row in the Championship is such a difficult thing to do. They are just having a bit of a wobble now, which every team tends to have in this league.
"This looks a cracking game ahead of Monday night at St Andrew's. The pressure on Middlesbrough is that Ipswich and Millwall are closing in behind them. Middlesbrough still have to play both of them.
"They are creating chances but were frustrated by Oxford. Leicester played a bit higher up the pitch than Oxford did at the Riverside and also frustrated Middlesbrough.
"As for Birmingham, there is no shame in losing to Millwall, but Chris Davies was not impressed with that performance. They have lost Jhon Solis to suspension, and he has been so important in midfield. Kai Wagner has injured his shoulder and has also been important since coming in. There is no natural replacement at left back and he is ruled out of this one.
"Middlesbrough need to keep the teams below them at bay, while Birmingham are trying to close back in on the top six. It should be an interesting night."
