25-year-old makes move from rivals Sporting
Yannick Djalo has moved across the Portuguese capital after joining Benfica from Sporting Lisbon.
The 25-year-old was due to move to French club Nice in the summer transfer window, but FIFA blocked the deal stating that it had not been completed before the 31st August deadline.
The Portuguese international thus has not played a match since the end of August.
A Benfica statement read: "Benfica have reached an agreement with striker Yannick Djalo who has signed a contract which is valid for four and a half seasons, or until the end of the 2015/2016 season."
