Burton v Doncaster preview

Burton manager Nigel Clough has a growing injury list ahead of Saturday's League One game at home to Doncaster.

Damien McCrory is ruled out for several weeks with a hamstring injury suffered against Gillingham, while Jamie Allen missed the midweek game with Shrewsbury due to a back problem and Will Miller is sidelined with a knee complaint.

David Templeton (hamstrings) and Scott Fraser (calves) also felt the effects of their efforts in the win at Shrewsbury before being substituted in the second half. Jake Buxton completed the 90 minutes despite suffering a whiplash injury in the first half and will be assessed before Clough selects his squad.

Doncaster manager Grant McCann is likely to make changes to his side despite starting the season with a 100 per cent record. Rovers head to Burton on Saturday after following back-to-back league wins with victory at Scunthorpe United in the Carabao Cup.

McCann will welcome back Tommy Rowe, who was rested on Tuesday night, while Alex Kiwomya may be available after his hamstring injury was deemed not as severe as first feared. Kiwomya was expected to be assessed in training before McCann names his squad.
