Burton vs Charlton preview

Jamie Allen has joined Burton's lengthy injury list ahead of the home game with Charlton.
Midfielder Allen suffered ankle damage in the 3-0 weekend defeat at Blackpool and is doubtful for the Sky Bet League One game.
Ben Turner (calf), Ben Fox (shoulder) and Marvin Sordell (knee) remain out for the Brewers, as does David Templeton who is struggling to shake off a knock. But Will Miller could return after missing out at Blackpool with a tight hamstring and fit-again Reece Hutchinson is pushing for a starting role.
Charlton welcome back top scorer Lyle Taylor after a one-match ban. The 12-goal Taylor missed Saturday's 3-1 home win over Bristol Rovers after picking up five yellow cards.
Darren Pratley's knee injury will be assessed, but Addicks boss Lee Bowyer is expected to keep changes to a minimum after his side climbed into the top six. Billy Clarke is likely to be missing again as Bowyer wants the striker to ease his way back after rupturing his anterior cruciate ligament last December.
Opta stats
This will be the first ever league meeting between Burton Albion and Charlton Athletic.
The only previous occasion these teams met came in the FA Cup third round in 1956, with Charlton running out 7-0 winners at the Valley.
Burton have scored exactly once in each of their last four home league games, alternating between defeat and victory in each four.
After a run that saw them concede nine goals in three games, Charlton have conceded just three in their last six League One matches.
