The sensational news of Jose Mourinho's parting of ways with Chelsea has shocked the football world and manifest plenty of comment. Managers, pundits and journalists alike have been having their say on what is undoubtedly the biggest story of the season so far. Skysports.com has brought you all the breaking news from Stamford Bridge, and below you can find reaction from across the country. Former Chelsea captain and current Leeds incumbent Dennis Wise feels 'a lot of people will miss him. I think the Premiership will miss him'. Avram Grant has been handed the task of filling Mourinho's ample shoes and the man who brought him to England, Milan Mandaric, believes 'he is a good man and I don't think he would play any part in making the decision for Jose to leave'. Portsmouth boss Harry Redknapp, who briefly worked with Grant at Fratton Park, recognises it is a fabulous chance for his ex-colleague, who he believes 'was the obvious candidate that was out there'. One man who is aware of Grant's capabilities is Manchester City coach Sven Goran Eriksson, who has described the former Israel coach as being ready for the role, as he 'knows his football, has a lot of experience from Israel and did a good job with the national team'. Wigan boss Chris Hutchings feels the news 'has come as a shock', while Steve Coppell is of a differing mindset, confessing his view that 'you just felt there was going to be a parting of the ways at some time'. Birmingham chief Steve Bruce believes Mourinho 'will not just be a loss to Chelsea but to the Premier League as well'. Reading winger Stephen Hunt, who felt the wrath of Mourinho last season following his clash with Petr Cech, admitted it was 'disappointing to see Mourinho leave. He has been great for the game in the Premier League'. Sky Sports pundit Andy Gray was also saddened to learn of Mourinho's departure, but conceded 'I can't say I was that shocked when the news broke that Jose Mourinho had left Chelsea'. Former referee Anders Frisk, who retired from football following Chelsea's volatile Champions League clash with Barcelona two years ago, felt Mourinho only had himself to blame, explaining 'with Jose Mourinho's controversial approach, and then not getting the results, you will get the door slammed in your face sooner or later'.
