Hull defender Michael Dawson says the team remain hopeful that they can beat the odds and secure Premier League survival.
The Tigers survival hopes were dealt a major blow on Saturday when they were defeated 2-0 by Tottenham at White Hart Lane.
However, they could yet escape if they can beat Manchester United at home next Sunday and either Sunderland fail to take a point from two tricky away games or Newcastle fail to win at home to West Ham next weekend.
And Dawson thinks a final day of high drama could be on the cards.
He said: “Of course Manchester United are a top team, a world-class team but, hopefully, they’ll be coming to the KC with nothing to play for, the place will be rocking, and let’s hope that results go our way as well.
“This is the Premier League. I’ve sat in front of the TV before on the final day of the season and there are always twists and turns. Hopefully, it will be a good one for us next week.”

It emerged on Friday that Hull midfielder Jake Livermore has been suspended by the club for the remaining two matches of the season, having tested positive for cocaine.
But Dawson said of the performance at Tottenham: “We were focused as ever.
“We’ve got players in that dressing room who came here today and believed we could win, but unfortunately we didn’t.
“If you look at the way we’ve played this season, we’ve never been battered away from home, and it was the same today.
“It’s hard to take but we’ve got one more game to go, we pick ourselves up, and let’s hope the final day of the Premier League is a good one for ourselves.”
