Portsmouth v Wycombe preview
Friday 21 September 2018 12:48, UK
Portsmouth are expected to have defensive duo Anton Walkes and Jack Whatmough available for the clash against Wycombe following injury.
Dion Donohue however will not play as the midfielder nurses a tight hamstring he suffered playing against Reading in the reserve team. The League One leaders will also be without on-loan winger Andre Green with a knee injury. Green has had to have surgery to remove a cyst on his right knee and is expected to be ruled out for a month.
Wycombe boss Gareth Ainsworth will have plenty of choice for his teamsheet against Portsmouth with the majority of his players fit to play. The team face a tough test against league leaders Portsmouth, with Wycombe currently sitting 19th in the table.
Defender Darius Charles could be given a start after a good performance in the team's Checkatrade trophy match victory over Fulham. Anthony Stewart and Adam El-Abd however will be sidelined for the match due to injury and forward Nathan Tyson will also not appear against Pompey.
