Shrewsbury vs Portsmouth preview
Friday 22 March 2019 10:09, UK
Shrewsbury manager Sam Ricketts is expected to consider changing a winning XI when they host Portsmouth in League One.
They overcame Wycombe but struggled to convince, requiring a stoppage-time penalty for all three points.
Greg Docherty and Fejiri Okenabirhie are pushing to start having featured as substitutes, while Omar Beckles is expected to, having come off the bench to score their equalising goal. Luke Waterfall is expected to miss out after coming off with an injury, as is James Bolton, owing to an ankle problem.
Portsmouth are set to be without Viv Solomon-Otabor, owing to a calf injury. He joins Ronan Curtis, who suffered a freak injury when trapping his finger in a door, in being ruled out.
Dion Donohue is also set to miss out, with a hamstring injury picked up in a reserve fixture. Andy Cannon and Bryn Morris are again absent, but could yet return in time for next week's EFL Trophy final against Sunderland.
