Highlights of the Sky Bet League One game between Shrewsbury and Oxford United.

Gavin Whyte struck a fine hat-trick as 10-man Oxford won 3-2 at Shrewsbury.

Oxford midfielder Ahmed Kashi was sent off in the first half but Whyte completed his treble in the second half as the visitors overturned a 2-1 interval deficit.

Ollie Norburn, from the penalty spot, and Greg Docherty were on target for a Shrewsbury side four points and five places clear of the relegation zone with two games to play.

Oxford started brightly and took a sixth-minute lead when Whyte guided a shot past Jonathan Mitchell from 12 yards.

Shrewsbury equalised in the 17th minute, skipper Norburn making no mistake from the penalty spot after Shaun Whalley was upended by Curtis Nelson.

Oxford were reduced to 10 men after 36 minutes when Kashi was dismissed for a challenge on Tyrese Campbell.

Shrewsbury were in front four minutes later as Docherty, on loan from Rangers, collected a cross from Campbell and found the bottom corner of the net from the edge of the penalty area.
