Tubes chats with Patrick Vieira about a range of topics

Soccer AM's Tubes sat down with New York City FC head coach Patrick Vieira to discuss life in management, who he can call for advice and how he deals with players.

Former Arsenal midfielder Vieira is in his first season as New York manager, with the side currently top of the Eastern Conference in the MLS.

Having played under several high-profile managers, Vieira told Tubes about his own management style and how he has several friends he can call on if he needs advice.

"I met Jose Mourinho and we exchanged numbers and he said to call him if I need any advice. I went to spend a week with Pep [Guardiola] and I know if I need anything I can give him a call or go back to City and speak to him.

"And Arsene Wenger, any time I need to give him a call I can."

This weekend sees Vieira's New York take on LA Galaxy, which means a meeting between former England team-mates Frank Lampard and Steven Gerrard.
