Neil Danns is a doubt for Bury as they prepare to host Crewe.
The midfielder was withdrawn at half-time during the goalless draw at Notts County on Saturday.
Shakers boss Ryan Lowe made six changes for that game at Meadow Lane and five for the previous match at Mansfield, so he might choose to shuffle his pack once more. The likes of Tom Miller, Stephen Dawson, Dominic Telford and Caolan Lavery are options for Lowe.
Crewe boss David Artell will have a fully-fit squad to choose from. Eddie Nolan passed a late fitness test on an ankle knock to enable Artell to name an unchanged team against Stevenage on Saturday.
The Railwaymen have bounced back from three successive defeats with back-to-back wins so Artell will be hoping for more of the same. With a busy fixture list, the Alex boss could make changes to ensure the squad stays fresh.
