Away-day specialists Dagenham left it late to secure a 1-1 draw at Chesterfield with Sam Saunders snatching a point in injury time. The home side thought they had won it when Martin Gritton scored in the 77th minute, but Saunders touched in a corner in the third minute of stoppage-time. Tommy Lee had earlier saved Chesterfield from going behind when he raced off his line to deny Jamie Guy. Gritton fired wide for the home side but there were few chances in a first half dominated by a strong wind. Guy rattled the bar when he went clear in the 57th minute and Ben Strevens had a shot deflected onto a post six minutes later. Gritton made no mistake when the visitors failed to clear a cross, but Saunders stretched Dagenham's unbeaten away run to 11 games.
